Preparation and the management of the board meetings, supervises and directs the activities of the board, and calls a meeting of the association when necessary. Ensures that the association is represented at the various representative events. Prepares the proposals for the board’s action plan and action report.

Carries out the duties of the chair in their absence. Maintains the association’s membership register with the assistance of the server admins and deals with other membership matters.

Responsible for the excursions and group transport, as well as acts as the main tour guide.

Writes minutes of the board meetings and makes the accepted minutes available for the members. Is responsible for the availability of the organizations current endorsement products and the orders of new products.

Takes care of the accounting, prepares the financial statements, supervises the use of funds and keeps the board informed about the association’s financial situation and handles payment transactions. Prepares the board’s budget proposal.

Academic and Social Affairs Coordinator

Keeps in touch with the department’s parts responsible for studies. Forwards issues noticed by students to the faculty. Participates in the department’s study team meetings. Ensures that the association has representation in the Committee for Undergraduate Education Development.

Responsible for affairs related to overall wellbeing and supporting services of students, equality and acting in the community.

Coordinates tutor activities. Plans the freshmen week program together with the tutors and the board, and plans other events for the freshmen.

Takes care of the facilities along with the housekeepers.

Responsible for corporate relations and sponsorships. Organises company visits and other events together with local or other companies. Coordinates the operation of the corporate relations committee.

Ensures that the association operates in an environmentally friendly manner and abides to the requirements of being a Fair Trade association.

Communicates about the association’s affairs and publishes weekly mails. Manages the social media team, photographers and social media visibility.

Responsible for organising sauna events.
